Recently, the 11th Academic Exchange Conference on Novel Photoelectric Detection Technologies and their Applications was successfully held in Taiyuan. The conference focused on various novel photoelectric detection technologies, including low-light detection, polarization detection, quantum detection, and single-photon detection, attracting numerous experts, scholars, and enterprise representatives from the photoelectric field both domestically and internationally to discuss technological development trends and industrial application prospects.
The conference was hosted by the Chinese Optical Engineering Society and co-organized by the Imaging and Detection Technology Professional Committee of the Chinese Optical Engineering Society, the Infrared Technology and Application Professional Committee of the Chinese Optical Engineering Society, and 10 universities and research institutions including North University of China. The conference featured 12 thematic sessions, covering nearly 100 research directions in the field of optics and optical engineering.
The "Academic Exchange Conference on Novel Photoelectric Detection Technologies and their Applications" is one of the most influential annual academic events in my country's photoelectric detection field, and has been successfully held for eleven sessions. The conference aims to build a high-level academic exchange platform, promote innovation and breakthroughs in photoelectric detection technology and its integration with industry, and promote independent control and sustainable development in key areas such as photoelectric sensing and intelligent manufacturing in my country.
As a leading enterprise in the field of industrial photoelectric sensors, AKUSENSE (Shenzhen Zhifenling Technology Co., Ltd.) was invited to participate in the conference. In Session 9: Application of Photoelectric Detection Technology in Industrial Automation, Dr. Zhao Ailun, the company's R&D director, delivered a keynote report entitled "Application of Industrial Photoelectric Sensors in Intelligent Manufacturing," sharing the company's latest achievements and practical experience in photoelectric sensing technology research and development and intelligent manufacturing applications.
In the keynote report, Dr. Zhao Ailun systematically explained the core role of industrial photoelectric sensors in intelligent manufacturing and pointed out that the future development of industrial photoelectric sensors will be miniaturization, intelligence, wireless connectivity, and online capabilities.
The report, combined with AKUSENSE application cases in multiple industries, detailed the technical advantages of photoelectric sensors in high-speed response, long-distance detection, nanometer-level accuracy, and non-contact measurement, as well as their successful applications in rail transit, intelligent warehousing, automobile manufacturing, 3C electronics, and new energy fields.
Dr. Zhao Ailun emphasized that with the continuous improvement of performance, reliability, and intelligence of domestically produced sensors, the process of domestic substitution is accelerating from "low-to-medium-end substitution" to "high-end breakthroughs."
